> PLANTATION BAY RESORT and SPA
Last April 22, 2017, we had a summer outing at Plantation Bay Resort and Spa. It was the most enjoyable and the funniest summer outing I ever had. We had a game, the Amazing Race which consisted of 6 stops in the resort where each stop has a corresponding challenge to accomplish by group representatives before proceeding to the next stop. Challenges were archery, golfing, consuming a can of beer, kissing the cheeks of 2 staffs, diving and kayaking. Our group emerged as the champion among the 5 and was priced by the resort with banana boat ride. I also tried biking, playing at the game room, swinging, volleyball and swimming at the pool. Food were good especially the lechon and the fruit salad and staffs were very friendly and respectful.
> D’ FAMILY PARK
Opened to the public on May 8, 1999, it is a nature park perfect for family picnic and venue for large group activities. Amenities includes picnic camp sites, children’s playground with swings, see-saws and slides, a mini zoo and a multi-function club house and a pavilion. My first time to go there was last Saturday, June 25, 2016. From Mary’s, I headed at 12 noon and arrived at 1:10 pm. It was better than I expected although I was frustrated with the swings because it’s too close to the ground like for small kids only. The park was around 7-minute walk from the main public road where PUJs pass by. By 2:45, I left for Metro Gaisano.

> SM SEASIDE CEBU
Opened on 27 November 2015, it is the 3rd largest shopping mall in the Philippines and the 10th in the world. After attending Sunday mass, I went there yesterday, June 19, 2016 from 12 noon to 6pm. Like SM City, there are different wings, the Seaview wing, the Mountain wing and the City wing. There is also a Skating rink, a Skypark garden at the top and a bowling area. The H&M amazes me because it’s so huge. I lunched at Mang Inasal and watch a movie, the Finding Dory.
> ROBINSONS GALLERIA CEBU
The newest shopping destination in Cebu opened last December 10 2015. I went there for the first time today, June 18, 2016. I headed from Mary’s at 10:45 am and arrived at 11:25, around 40 mins travel. Near the main entrance, I was greeted by their icon, a gigantic guitar. I visited the department store first, then Daiso Japan where I bought a led light for my bike, then proceeded to the Food Gallery which disappointed me because there were only a few choices available, then to grocery where I bought buko salad and chicken macaroni salad. By 12:45, I left and go to IT Park.

> ISLAND HOPPING NEAR MACTAN, CEBU
Last June 4, 2016 we spent almost a day taking a private cruise through the islands near Mactan by renting a pumpboat at Hadsan Cove Beach Resort. We brought with us pork and fishes which we grill on the boat. We sailed to 2 islands, the Kawhagan Island and Olango Island where there is a marine sanctuary.
